Find the answers to your frequently asked questions here

+ WHEN cAN i oRDER UNIFORMS?

• When your player is fully registered you will recieve an email invitation to join SLACK, Bayside’s communication platform. Our Uniform Coordinator will be able to communicate with you from that point and will ask you to order if you have not already done so. • Uniform orders will not be filled until our Registrar has confirmed the player is fully registered. • It is accepted that in ordering a Bayside Uniform you agree to the Terms and Conditions explained on this FAQ page. .

+ WHERE DO I GO TO PURCHASE UNIFORMS?

• We do not have a Store Front from which uniforms can be purchased. All orders are come through our Online Shop which can be found on our website. • You will be notified via our Slack communication platform when your order is ready, and sent a pick-up address (at Victoria Point)

+ WHAT DO I NEED TO PURCHASE?

• Compulsory uniform items are: reversible club singlet; club shorts; training singlet

+ HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE?

• Each item has a description and detailed Sizing Guide. Please take the time to read how the measuring works. The Guides are quite accurate but do look up each garment - the Guides are often not the same from garment to garment. Depending on your phone, sometimes a better layout of the pages can be seen on a PC.

+ WHAT IF I ORDER THE WRONG SIZE?

• No problem, we can set up an exchange. Please keep the packaging undamaged and do not remove tags before trying on the garment.

+ HOW CAN I SEE WHAT NUMBERS ARE AVAILABLE?

• We do not buy in singlets To Order. Instead, we buy in bulk for better costings, and to to and have stock on hand to reduce wait times. Only some numbers are in stock for each size at any one time.

+ WHY CAN’T I CHOOSE A NUMBER EVEN THOUGH NONE OF MY TEAMMATES HAVE THE ONE I WANT?

• Singlet Numbers are allocated so as to reduce the chance of a number clash with another teammate as we move through the seasons. The intention is to minimise the cost to parents by reducing the chances of needing a new singlet every 6 months when teams change. With this in mind, a players’ Year of Birth is taken into account when allocating a singlet number.

+ WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A NUMBER CLASH

• (as much as we try) this system is not faultless, so there may be occasions when a new singlet will need to be purchased. • This system does not take into account Players playing Out-Of Age-Group. In the event of a clash, the Player playing Out-of-Age-Group will be required to purchase a second singlet. Should both players be Out-of-Age-Group we will be asking parents to please understand and work together to find a solution.
• This system also becomes fragile in the U19, U20, U21 and YDL Groups as there can be a large range of ages in a team. In this case we will again ask parents to work together to find a solution.

+ IS THERE A SECOND-HAND SHOP?

• • At this stage we will not be selling second-hand uniforms. With only the online platform available for sales we understand that not being able to see-before-you-buy will not work for many people when purchasing pre-loved items. • If you purchase a second-hand singlet privately, please be aware that in the event of a number clash, you will be required to purchase another singlet.
• If you would like more information about the number of a singlet you are purchasing 2nd hand please DM Caren on Slack with the details. Please send Singlet Number, Player’s Name and Player’s Date of Birth. The likelihood (or not) of a number clash can be determined.
